The entry point of Carstensz Pyramid Expedition via the trekking route of Ilaga or Sugapa Village is Timika on the south coast of the island which can be reach by daily flights from Jakarta. Herefrom we will use charter flight to Sugapa Village or Ilaga Viilage to start our trekking to reach Carstensz Pyramid Base Camp in 6 Days. After the summit success we will use the same way for our return way to the village then onto Timika by charter flight before onward to Jakarta and homeward flight.
 
Across Indonesia services begins in Jakarta and with an estimation of spending 15 Days for the expedition including the trekking journey,  acclimatization and summit days, the duration of this expedition is 18 - 20 Days in total with the following outline program below:

The above are only guide lines and we have to be flexible. Every effort will be made to keep to the itinerary, but please reserve some extra days in case of dealys in charter flight departure or bad weather which can caused us to extend our stay in BC for summit day or so.
 
TREKKING FROM SUGAPA/ILAGA VILLAGE - CARSTENSZ BC
The trekking journey from Sugapa or Ilaga to Carstensz BC offers various terrains, up down hills, cross rivers and flat savanna. Besides our team guide, we would be also accompanied by locals as porters who will carry our logistics with ratio of 1: 5-6 and to ensure porter able to carry your gears easily, please prepare a back-pack instead of duffel bag and please prepare small pack for you to bring your value belongings and for the summit day.
 
DAYS AT CARSTENSZ BC
We provide 3 DAYS at Carstensz BC for acclimatixation and summit day, however if the team had succesful summit in less days we might return to the village at eralier.

However Across Indonesia do operate the expedition our selves and sure this enable us to provide the most COMPETITIVE COST to our clients.

Also to enable the most affordable cost to join the Carstensz Pyramid Expedition, in every trip we require minimum of 4 people going on every trip departure. Please contact us for the expedition cost
